My name is Alice Gold - that's me living my Snow White dreams - and I have been stage-struck since I was three and saw a production of My Fair Lady at our local theatre, Hull New Theatre. Since then, my entire life has been spent in and around theatres.

I grew up in Hull, where I was involved with many local theatre societies, as well as school plays. I was also fortunate enough to gain a place with the National Youth Theatre in 2013.

After school, I went off to read Art History and English Literature at the University of St Andrews, but, much to my lecturers' dismay, spent most of my time in the town's theatres, covered in dust, and dressed in ridiculous costumes.

Much of my time was spent running the University of St Andrews Gilbert and Sullivan Society, as well as playing many of the harridan roles... which I definitely didn't base on my mother.

I also FINALLY got to play Eliza Doolittle in the famous Byre Theatre!

I am now studying at the amazing Guildford School of Acting for my MFA Musical Theatre.

This has truly been one of the most exciting and challenging times of my life so far.

I am delighted that, not only have I fine-tuned my acting and vocal skills, but I have also found a love and ability for dancing!

So, there you have it! This is what this character actor has managed to pack in to 23 years! I cannot wait to see what is next!
